Well the first time Andy and I went through an IVF procedure, In Vitro Fertilization, it was right after his cancer surgery and right after radiation and we just needed to do something to move forward and try, make us feel like we were being productive. And that did not work, but, you know, I went through the process, I knew I could do it. I went through a frozen cycle and that didn’t work either and I then we waited a significant amount of time before trying again with donor sperm. We waited a significant amount of time and then in the following year in June of ’07, we did try to do an Intrauterine Insemination, an IUI, with donor sperm, didn’t work, again I was about 33, turning 34 at the time, so still relatively young, but starting to get to that point where I’m getting close to 35 and they start to get a little concerned with the woman’s fertility at that point. So, it wasn’t so odd that I didn’t conceive after two IUIs and I knew I could do the IVF. I had done it before with Andy’s sperm and I knew that I could do it again so in September of ’07, we did another In Vitro Insemination with the donor sperm. We did conceive but unfortunately I did miscarry after 6 weeks but we felt positive about the fact that there had been conception. That I obviously could get pregnant and that was a really great thing. We waited a couple of months and then in January of ’08 we did a frozen cycle of IVF and I’m now 25 weeks pregnant and due in October with our first baby and I have to say that you know, going through the fertility process, I only had to go through it because Andy had cancer. Had he not had cancer, we don’t have any reason to believe that I would have had to go through fertility. But you can do it. I think a lot of women are very fearful…they think that is going to be a tough process. But you know what? You do what you have to do. And you know, it's really amazing and it’s a miracle that we have the science we do today.
