Once I decided to do the emergency IVF, I met with the nurse at the clinic and she went over how to inject myself. And prior to this experience, I also never thought I would inject myself with a needle. I’m not afraid of needles, but they’re not my best friend. So, now I’m a pro. I think I had to, at most, maybe three times a day inject myself. But I think it [was] more like two or once every couple of days. And the drugs were provided from the clinic actually, which was very fortunate. I think other women who were using IVF as an option donated their leftover injections, and I was able to use those. So I paid for a couple of prescriptions for the IVF procedure, but most of them were donated, which was very fortunate. And every day still, I still take an injection after every chemo treatment, and I always need a family member or a friend to count to three for me to push that needle inside of me. So I did a lot of phone calls around that time to friends and family to help me get through it, but it worked.
