When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I did a lot of searching on the Internet. A lot of the information was not necessarily available for: number one, someone of my age. And number two, a lot of people weren’t necessarily asking the question and getting a response, a true response. So the information that was out there is kind of limited on what the options were.
The information that my doctor gave me: I was somewhat satisfied, but still in the back of my mind it’s like, okay she’s telling me that, yes, I can stop the Tamoxifen if I want to and try to have a child. But at the same time, I’m still thinking, okay, well what if there’s some sort of birth defect that—or some sort of something that they don’t know about at this time. So that concerned me.
