As a female, how do I cope with infertility, or the prospect of it?

For somebody experiencing infertility, it’s really tough to go through. You have these expectations about how you’re going to build this family, and it’s going to be so easy, and it’s not like that.

I guess my advice is just to take the time to come to terms with it and think about what your goal and what your end result is. For me and my husband, we try to focus on the fact that our goal is to have a family, and it doesn’t matter maybe so much how we get there, as long as we get there in the end—that’s really what we’re looking for. But you really have to think about what you’re willing to go through and what you’re willing to deal with to get that, and it’s a big test that not everybody has to go through, but that’s just the way it is.
